Kentucky Lake Marina & Campground Upgrades
The renovation and rejuvenation of Cane Creek continues…
As the saying goes ‘time flies by when you are having fun!’… And it has certainly been fun for us to continue to improve and grow Cane Creek facilities since new owners took over the site in Fall 2017. We’re never complacent, and always looking to improve, but we are proud to reflect on how far the facility has come over that period of time. Here are a few highlighted renovations and enhancements so far at our Kentucky Lake Marina and Campground:
Fall 2017
- Renovation of on-site Manager’s Residence
- Enhanced all campground access roads with fresh gravel
- Bathhouse restoration– new roof, fresh paint, new fixtures

- To improve safety and deter non-registered guests from walking on the docks, ‘No Fishing’ signs were added to make it clear that fishing is prohibited from the docks
Spring 2019
- New, additional campsites created– 45 sites now available
- Shoreline enhancements completed, including removal of brush and small trees and trimming of lower branches to enhance the views of the lake from campsites, particularly from the first part of the campground as you enter
- The WiFi network around the store and campgrounds was enhanced further
- Security was enhanced further, with the addition of a number of security cameras on docks and throughout the exterior of the store and campgrounds recording motion alerts

Winter 2019
